xx Mysterious Macro 35-105 lens for ZM Quartz?
« Thread started on: Jan 16th, 2018, 9:13pm »

Just stumbled upon a ZM Quartz in a thrift shop and purchased on a whim to add to my seemingly non-functional but very decorative collection of eye candy....
Had no real prior knowledge of this particular model of camera so googled it, and lo and behold found the note about the mysterious Macro lens not previously known to exist!
Turns out there's one here in Ontario, Canada too!

Any information to fill me in on this happy accident? smiley

There were several variations of this lens with the Osawa brand, the same company that was Mamiya's distribution partner. I have a copy.

Optically, it is obviously a Mamiya design, and it is quite handy if one wanted a single zoom from macro, to moderately wide, to moderately long. Physically I find it a bit clunky.
