xx Pease help identify vintage Lens Mount
« Thread started on: Mar 25th, 2012, 5:26pm »

Got one of these from a friend (a Mamiya user).
Hoping to use it with my EF(EOS) mount Canon.
Looking for an appropriate adaptor.
Does anyone know the name of this lens mount? It might help in finding the adaptor.

The 10 gold contacts identify it as an E or EF lens for a Mamiya Z-series camera. I'm not sure there is an adapter yet. One of our forum members did just create an adapter for the Mamiya CS lenses (used on the Mamiya NC1000).

The CS to EOS Adapter can be found on Shapeways:

Even though this is old I am replying in case someone else stumbles across this through a web search.

That is indeed for the ZE camera mount.

Adapters for this mount have been made by Fotodiox for several years (since about 2013).

Because of the similar flange distance, I doubt that one is made for the Canon EF mount (not to be confused with the Mamiya EF series of lenses), but it might be possible for the EF-M (mirrorless digital) cameras. I know for certain that μ4/3, SONY NEX, and Fuji XT versions exist.

The aperture control is a bit coarse, but otherwise the adapter is well made.
