In this thread I'll post some scans of a roll I shot in Montauk, NY this past November. All were taken through a Tamron SP 60~300mm 1:3.8~5.4 23A lens.

Very Nice Sir....loved the sun on the water, but was wondering....how many pounds of fish did the gull cost?

Marvelous results from a thirty plus year old Mamiya...thank you for the post.

grin

This was during the week of the Super Beaver Moon, and there was bit more activity at the beach that day. I'm guessing the gull noticed the people and was looking for some scraps to scarf up.

The pleasure is mine. This might be the last time I take this camera to the beach: after several days in high humidity, the shutter release button started to respond intermittently. sad

However, the IR wireless trigger and motor drive worked flawlessly together, much to my pleasant surprise. 8^)

I lived in South Carolina for 9 years, and spent quite a bit of time in Myrtle Beach, some for pleasure, more for helping a brother-in-law remodel and maintain ocean front investment property; it was a beautiful place to visit, but I thought the caustic environment a little too steep a price. I never did take any of my good camera equipment over there. I currently live in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and spend a great deal of time at the beaches of Lake Superior and Lake Michigan, and have yet to suffer any difficulties with any of my cameras or lenses. Humidity of course, but no salt.
